Charlotte, her guards, Cecily and Aria arrive at the Cambell “mansion”. Looking over it, Charlotte says she isn’t really impressed
Doris and the other guards ask if Cecily is really a noble after seeing her house, to which Cecily says she’s a former noble. Charlotte thinks using her house has to be better than a shack and nonchalantly walks up and opens the front door…

Episode 6 Family
You bad little girl
But she got a nasty surprise because as soon as she did that, Cecily’s maid picked up Charlotte right off the ground and held her in the air by the back of her coat. (I’m somehow reminded of how little kittens are picked up by the back of their neck here) So of course her guards demand to know what she’s doing. Her maid introduces herself as Fio Atkins, and she tells them that badmouthing the Cambell house means they’re picking a fight with her. Charlotte (still being held in the air somehow of course heh) starts yelling and whining at her and says “You’re a nasty rude maid, do you know who I am, I’m the emperor’s…” But then Fio just gets up in her face looking pissed and says “…Do I look like I care?”. She tells them all, that they have one rule in her house. If you don’t work, you die!
Cecily really amused.
Charlotte and her guards suddenly find themselves in maid’s uniforms which causes Cecily to start laughing at them. Doris was especially pissed off about being forced to wear them and tries to attack Fio. But she easily makes short work of Doris and also the other two guards who joined in to attack her. The three of them lay on the floor in a heaped pile. Kinda looked like it hurt too haha. Then Fio announces to Charlotte that she’s going to make her stay in the house especially ‘hell on earth’. Charlotte finally agrees to help out but demands that Cecily be forced to work too. Surprisingly, Cecily suddenly finds herself too being dragged off into a room where Fio does unspeakable things…er forces her into a maid’s costume. Damn.
Luke in a moment of reflection
Later in town, Luke and Lisa are pulling a wheel barrel of metal scraps. It seems that they sometimes go around town collecting them from townsfolk, because they get the metal free and people are glad to get junk taken away for them. They eventually reached an alleyway, where Luke stopped to reflect over his saving Cecily earlier. He wondered why he would bother saving her. Cecily suddenly appears on a staircase on front of him but Luke only sees her silhouette at first. He thought he saw a different girl, and he asks “Liza?” in a shocked voice. But then he realized it was just Cecily dressed in a maid’s uniform carrying a basket of apples. Cecily really didnt want to be seen wearing that, and starts freaking out. Luke tells her that he thinks she looks good in those clothes, which really makes Cecily get embarrassed. So naturally she punches Luke -really- hard in the face, screams at the top of her lungs, and proceeds to run off.
More bad stuff is going to happen to Cecily though
Back at the Cambell residence, Charlotte and her guards were in a storage room dusting and organizing crates and barrels. Cecily was also trying to help but doing a pretty lousy job. Charlotte announces that unlike her, she knows how to do things and be helpful because her guards taught her how to do the little chores in life. That kind of makes Cecily feel bad, because she doesnt ever help out around the house…she’s just lazy heh. Then there’s a brief “obligatory public bath scene” where Charlotte reveals that her mother had actually died, which surprised Cecily.

Later that night, everyone gathered in the dining room for a huge meal. They started to really get to know one another. Charlotte found herself drawn to Madam Lucy, so after the meal she went up to her room to take a look at what she might be doing. Lucy invited her into her room and showed her a bit about sewing. Charlotte really felt at ease with her because she reminds her of her recently deceased mother and she had never had a chance to learn about something like sewing. Cecily watching through a crack in the door, smiled.

Cecily started training the next morning again, because she recalled how she lost to Charlotte’s three guards. She says she wishes she knew how to use Aria’s power more effectively. After a moment of thought Aria said that there was something she wanted to go check. There was also a brief scene in town with Charlotte and her guards. They 3 of them felt that they could stay living with Cecily rather than go back to the empire, which made Charlotte feel conflicted. She felt happy to feel like she belonged somewhere but couldn’t forget her goal of restoring her mother’s honor. Aria then went the prison where Evadne (Charlotte’s demon sword who shares the ability to turn human like Aria can) was being held. She had a short talk with her to try to learn what it meant to be a demon sword and what they really are. But she didnt really get an answer. Evadne just said “You’ll find out soon enough”.
Just what she wanted to hear…
At the cambell residence, Lucy comforted Charlotte who sought some advice about her conflict. Lucy tells her that she has a right to be happy too and that her mother would have wanted that. This manages to cheer up Charlotte. But unfortuately for her, a letter arrived shortly after from the emperor. In it, he denies that Charlotte is of royal blood. He demands her and her guards, along with all the demon swords they possessed be returned to the empire because Charlotte stole them all. They are to be punished under the empire’s laws. Needless to say, Charlotte was horrified…

So no death in this episode, but instead lots of weird random stuff. Also a ‘bath scene’ where they act like freaks? sure seems that way to me. haha
